some strange headrest Hey Mr. Speedwell first of all nice collection!! Secondly I notice you have a BRM key ring in the background. What is the history behind it, as I picked one exactly the same from an OCTO meet whilst on vacation in SoCal. I have never seen another one like it until now, are they rare??!! Regards, Paul

yeah , they like the newer porsche locks , but once you have them on and have taken the "key" away an alloy wheel nut screws on !! so unless you get real close , you cant tell theyre lockers there is a wierd thing that goes down the middle of the "key" , it looks like i will have to carry a spanner to get the "key" off once the lock is in place ??

You screw the washers down using this key and then put the nuts over them. i understand what your saying , thats like a "normal" porsche locker (i think mcgard make them for porsche . but mine have an extra part .... threaded like it must screw onto the stud aswell . i cant describe it , will have to take pics

i got pics !!! these two parts are what stay on the car . the lock , and the nut that covers it .... and this is how it looks on the wheel ... the rest of the pix are of the 3 pieces needed to fit/remove the small lock part ... you can see the thread inside the silver part . i'm thinking the silver part screws onto the bolt , and turns in the lock part too , then i remove the silver part with a spanner , and slide off the key part ?? can see why i cant just forget about the silverpart and just have a lock , and a key like normal lockingnuts

I have never seen another one like it until now, are they rare??!! Not really - they were made a few years ago and you could buy them through Karmann Konnection and at most swapmeets. Nothing to do with Speedwell or EMPI...

I have been waiting for these for a while and today they were on the doorstep when I came home. The plastic ones that come with these wheels just did not do it for me.
