Got them mocked up already! I'll have to make up some custom brackets to get them exactly where I want.
I think the boxes will be fine ,you not really going to fit them to the car are you cheers richie I absolutely am! A GTV is not a cal looker, and never will be. It is a "Grand Touring" car, therefore should have all the bells and whistles avaliable. Zach, I like those. I think they'll look cool. I used to run big 7" round Hella driving lights on my front bumper on my '67 because I drove the hell out of it (fast) at night. the little H4 Marchal's on my car were not up to the job. Now I am at home at night, doing other things, hence no more driving lights. I hate resto cal crap too, safety stars and all the deflectors and that crap... but better lighting is a good thing. And they fit the lines of your car. Nice. oh and ian c.... you are one crazy mother. cool cat.

In the seventies, we used to say a GTV was Cal Look.....
Were Mullets considered Cal-look too? Wrong era. We had either long hair, or , the disco cut later on for all the dipshits.

glad it all got to you safely Yup, all present and correct! Big mistake ordering the red TMI interior though - it looks so good against the Anthracite paint that I don't want to sell the car any more! Cheers for your help dude!

allright i got some stuff as well... - got another copy off the great how to hodrod your vw engine book (too bad it is the same cover as the one i got) but that book is so cool. so now i have one that can get dirty in the garage. - a very nice set off 185/70/15 vredestein tires for the type3 and it even looks like everything fits and no short axles are needed... that is good. so i am one step closer to the ulitmate dream off turing this car into the green machine

SKAT TRAKs! Finally found what look to be a decent set thanks to DHood. They have been mildly ported but I think they are still okay. I am sure if UD can make an entire head out of aluminum welding rod, reworking these should be no problem for him. edit: forgot the stupid picture first time. And sorry for the lousy phone camera pic. --louis

Like I said I've got board of all the NOISE in the Manx plus I need alittle more power so I looked for a merged header - I saw this one on ebay.com for only 30 bucks so I brought it I will be fitting a single quiet pack like robs bronze Manx (sorry for coping Rob)
