Old school tyres

Hi guys.

I'm looking into buying a set of tyres and have been looking at some white letter firestone ovals and like the look of em.
But have been reading up on these and people have been saying that performance wise they arn't that good.
Especially in the wet.

Is there any old school   white lettered tyre's that are good on the street

Am after 145 80 15 fronts

and 215 65 15 rears .
