Hello Mr. Berger,

The black Proformance bug is from Christophe Alias Crazy Mc. Stairs, you know that funny blond guy ho is always hanging around me Tongue
Just kidding offcourse you know christophe, he bought Stian former engine and build it in his black bug and yes the engine lid is closed and the back seat is still in the car, you will see him next year at SCC or within 3 weeks @Bitburg if you come over.

See you
Sven.

Ahh! So that`s the mysterious car Wink
He`s one crazy guy, I absolutely love that car! Fantastic look, and crazy engine combo!
Won`t be able to come to Bitburg, sorry, but looks forward to see that car @ SCC!! Make sure he gets there Wink

Thanks for the info Sven.

Hi Christoph

Sound great! It was good to talk to you again, I was looking forward to see that black beast on the track at DDD#8, and when I found out that it was your car I was surprised - awesome, what a nice car!

So you are going to Bitburg again in October! Hmm would love to see that 1/4mile pull for myself.

Good luck and we hope to meet you and Sven soon again.

Hi Anders,

It was so nice to see you guys racing out there! Good talking to you too but way to short... we can catch up later! Thanks for the nice words Wink
I'll do my best to get it running by 9/10, first of all I have to finnish Sven his gearbox and replace the 2nd pro-ring...
Hopefully I can set my former record on the 1/8 mile... I did at Spa @ the Bug Show a 6.28sec. on the 1/8 mile up-hill racing Grin and than after that run I wanted to set that time and broke that damned rocker! Shocked

Speak to you soon! Wink

Could you tell me a bit more about your rear set up? T1 gearbox? Short axles?

Thanks,

Well it took a while to get my film developed  Grin  Here are my pictures from DDD8

The Wunderwaffe en route to Bitburg, Jelle leading with Donder in tow.

[ Attachment: You are not allowed to view attachments ]

And Donder was just not able to overhaul, a measily 1500 is definitely no match for a 13.2 second car.

In Bitburg we joined up with Dem in his superfast car, a shame he is not able to prove that as he has dragstrip-o-phobia. We had to force him to at least have a look at the other clubmembers racing  Roll Eyes

[ Attachment: You are not allowed to view attachments ]

And finally there was Peter (actually he was there from the day before, but that wouldn't fit my time line)

The action was on the strip all day long!

The Mosquito prior to it's 200 meter demise in a lot of white smoke, at least it now has seen the track. Let's hope it is soon ready for more!

[ Attachment: You are not allowed to view attachments ]

Here's Peter anyhilating American Iron with his low 13 second car (even though that run only ended in the mid fourteens)

[ Attachment: You are not allowed to view attachments ]

A hint to his future plans which will definitely BLOW him to the end of the track even faster.

Speaking about finishing off American boy racers, not everyone was so lucky, here's fast scrap just before a humongous wheelie and a slow run because someone forgot to turn on the fuel pump Cheesy

Here's LowFastBus, queing up. Que might not be the good word, the waiting lines were much smaller than last year.

[ Attachment: You are not allowed to view attachments ]

Here are the WW in front of the BurgerKing, age old tradition, even though the DFL were so thoughtful to provide us all with burgers and beers in the pits.

[ Attachment: You are not allowed to view attachments ]

And this is Jelle, almost home for his hot date, which made him miss slipping into the 12's on sunday?

Hehe.. thanks! Stock tortions... you`re indeed crazy  Smiley Quite similar to my set up except I do have a T1 gearbox. I just dig the way your looks with the fat tires under the fenders.

Hi Fabs,

Really good pictures, its a wonder anyone bothers to go to the shows to spectate any more, you just need to log on here sat back and enjoy!

My favorites the ultra rat's front wheel and disc combo just looks great under the split rounded wheel arch, and the red 67 ragtop with OG BRM's, well that's about as close to perfect as I could imagine really. Better still the view when I poked my head out of the car window each morning included both of them! What a great weekend it was! Fingers crossed for next year.
