Very cool, DEEKS!
My Cal-Look street car days pretty much ended in the late 70's but I remember seeing many of your cars around through the 80's.. good times then and now!

I Checked. It was the August 2003 issue of VW Trends. I picked up a copy in Anchorage Alaska on my Honeymoon and we were married in early July '03.

Don't tell your wife that the best memory of your honeymoon is the VW Trends with the DKK article  Grin

Fabian, thanks for the year on the car. And I REALLY need a copy of that VW Trends... thanks for posting the month/year/issue. I'll be on the hunt. Dig that picture of Henry's & Nanci's Karmann Ghia. Always loved that car.

Fred, you can now expect the price of that VW Trends to rival the Feb. 1975 Hot VW's Grin Grin

todd something to help you in this report Huh

All of this was before my time.  The only name I remember is 'Russel' with a turquoise 56 or 57 oval.  I'm sorry
I'm not much help, maybe it was all a bad dream.

Randy has a Jack Russell and Jim has a turquoise oval....
If I saw that dog driving the oval at a club event...  I might call that a bad dream.  Wink

Question: Is the white car in the driveway, behind Glenn's Ghia, a '66? It might be my old eyes, but the side windows appear to be '64 or earlier.

Agreed.
