Gary Lang is a pattern maker by trade from Vancouver Canada, His son Brad was a member of the DVKK for many years and build a wicked Ghia convertable a few years back. He drove the Ghia from Vancouver to Los Angeles for the Classic and took top awards.

Bruce Tweddle know a fair amount about Lang products

Gary Lang is a True Hot Rodder and one of the nicest guys, he has the most wicked original all steel 32 Ford you will find. and he drives it all over the country for shows, never on a trailer! Sometimes with the fenders on, sometimes with the fenders off Smiley

Beautiful car!  Trailers are for boats... and maybe Volkswagens that don't have cooling systems (i.e., race cars)...Grin  Love '32 Fords, huge fan, probably my favorite non-VW to admire.

Thanks guys, yep Fabs i saw those adds, but there's not much infos about the company. Except they produce sumps for Empi and Treuhaft.

That's my old Lang sump (my pics, too;)) It's a good design, I should have hung on to it!

I posted those on the Samba along with a few of the other pic's (those are all EMPI sumps made in Canada). Gary was kind enough to give me all the orig artwork used in all the catalogs and parts.
I have copies of most catalogs and instructions, etc. I'll post a few pics. I'm working on a story of the history of "Lang" with the help of Gary.

Fabs what's the indentification number on your canadian Empi sump ?

My Lang sump is #LVW5 and the breather box is #LVW10.

By the way, maybe it's just by chance, but the "W" in the id. number of both parts seems scratched, something about copyrights with VWOA ? All letters and numbers are easy to spot except the W that you can barely read.
