Just thought it may be interesting to see what other cars everyone on here owns/drive.
I'll start off with my '77 Golf

Nice Golf, Si...very clean.

I started out with mk1 cars, since I couldn't afford the bodywork on a Beetle for a long time.  Here's my 83 GTI that was rebuilt to look like a "Golf"—it started out as a Rabbit GTI.

Other junk I have right now include a 90 GLI Jetta (16v) with a wiped-out engine, and a Diesel Caddy.

@ si66; that`s one VERY nice looking car! Got to love the old school style with steel rims instead of expensive BBS`s!

Rabbits were the convertibles, right?

All "Golfs" from 75-84 in the U.S. were "Rabbits."  The convertible was a "Rabbit Convertible" into 1984, then it became a "Cabriolet."

The U.S. Rabbit GTI looked like this:

hence, what mine started out like.

Jesus Si! Is that low enough!  Cheesy

Love your Mk1, I miss mine a lot - an '83 bought from a Grandma who owned it from new, only 23,000 miles on the clock, all for £300! Even had the original sales brochure with it. Now in a Mk3 Goof, which is quite possibly the worst car I have ever owned.

I roll this bad boy. Got it from Kenny Butler. He had to sell it to me because his single wide trailer payment was 6 months past due and he really wanted a Franklin Mint Huey helicopter. It had a flat 12, 5 liter but he pulled it out to put in a Chevy 454 from his 1973 Winnebago. LOL
