Hot VWs Drag Day Coverage from Irwindale CA

I know my like minded performance VW friends would love to see some of the action from Southern California from Sunday's race.

I'm going to be posting an article within the next 48 hours, but I've got 110 photos from the event in my image gallery.



I'm also working on a video for the event, but that won't be up for another week or so.  I need to go through the footage and edit the video.  (You need to be a registered user to view the video section of the site.)

There's a shot in the gallery of the Berg Brothers (Clyde & Doug) at the tree.  Unfortunately, Clyde Red Lit!    At least he's got the front wheels in the air!

I was watcing American Hotrod on the DiscoveryChannel last night, there where several hot vw´s in the background when they filmed at the Irwindale strip.
One looked just like Joe Maestas green oval. Very cool.

Clyde's chop top is for sale!  $20,000 USD.  Dyno Don was giving everyone the "sales pitch" each time Clyde came up to the line.
