On my cow-look car, it will be 78 x 90.5. stock rod length. I have 1.4 rockers, 44 webers and it will be about 9-1 compression-I am at almost 5000 ft above sea level. I want a motor with lots of bottom and mid range. This is a car I want to have fun with low maintance. What cam would you run? It has stock weight fly wheel and stock gears with 4.12 RP. and 25.250 dia rear tires. Thank for any advise

Engle 120, 40x35.5. And lighten that flywheel!

I sure like my Ki8 with 1.4 ratio rockers.  Pulls away in top gear from just below 2000 rpm.  Very torquey and fun to drive.

Danny,
As Donny suggested, the K8 is a great all-arounder for your 1.4 rockers and perfect for a 2.0 with 40X35.5 or 37.5 valves.
I'd also consider the 86A flavor by WebCam.
What kinda carbs, 52IDAs? LOL.
Take care,
Tom

Oops, didn't see the 1.4 rockers. I'd honestly talk to Steve Long (SLR) in Corona. Man knows his cams and has a LOT of grinds to choose from.

I'm building a 2017cc, myself, only with Steve Tims Stage 2 heads (42x37.5mm valves) and dual 45 Dellortos.  Engle 125 and CB 1.25 rockers, also.

Now that's a nice set-up!

K-8, 40x35.5  Steve Tims will be perfect for those 1.4 rockers. w120 only recommends 1.25's.
