that's THE quiet pump. but you need to improvise to fit AN fittings. i had the same issue and ended up with a Facet red top which is a lot more quiet than my previous Holley Blue.

I run this. It is very quiet. Pretty too. Rick Sadler runs one too on the yellow car.

DG, I run a Holley blue in my '69 for the last 10 years ... sucked until I rubber mounted it. Turn the key and you can just barely hear it, but certainly not while the motor's running. RUBBER MOUNTING makes all the difference. I'd explain how I went about it, but you're pretty good coming up with alternative implementations. Here's looking up your old address ... T

Carter electric. Silent and very reliable. I think I just had to run some adapter fittings to run my AN line to it and has never let me down, unlike my loud pos Holley...

Red Holley mounted on Mercedes W124 air cleaner mounts... can't hear it inside or outside the car. I have AN-6 fittings on it.

jim, i'm quite curious as to how you mounted the holley. i tried the same with my blue pump, but it was too big, i sourced the exact same mounts. now i used them again with the facet pump that produces a quiet hum that let's me know it's on but in no way it's annoying.

Soon as I start my 2276 IDA motor and go for a drive in my solid mounted 67, the red Holley is the least of my worries..... I've learnt to welcome the nosie - all of it

Jason,
Does the Holley 125 have a built in regulator or do you run and external one? I am considering a new pump as well on my new 2275 motor set up.

It needs a regulator Rick. The pump is constant at 7 psi. I use a holley 1 to 4 lb regulator.

Jason,
Thanks for the heads up. I will be updating my pump soon. Worked OK for the smaller webers but need more for the IDAs.
