So today it was a great pleasure not to have one but 4 californian girls arrive at Gasser Garage HQ.......  Grin

2 were into vws and the other was into fiats the 4th just liked cars, however the main VW one was Alison Mck. the daughter of our fellow lounger and racer Larry Mck.

As you may know Mck Jnr has been racing the Good E nuff carr this season and doing extremly well, keep it going AK.

Anyway, heres a picture of her sitting in the current VWGG project......

PS Larry, shes in safe hands.  Wink

I chatted briefly with Allison in Sacramento last spring... very talented driver and very nice young woman! Her father has every right to be extremely proud.  I love the "Good-E-Nuf" car, and enjoyed watching it on the track at Bugorama.

Allison - that is so cool that you are there.  Looks like you are having a great time.  Allison did very well this year racing the car, and I hope to see her racing next year!

Russell - nice of you to be such a great host!

She should be in school! Grin Now Russell is just corrupting her more. She is very good at racing and has the right stuff. I think I will not be driving that much next year as she keeps getting better and I do the opposite. Thanks Russell for taking care of the girls. Judging from the grin I think they are having a blast. The double cab looks fantastic!

Good luck with the rear bumper Russell , it took me ages to find a commercial square corner bumper for my old 64 crew cab and that was 15 years ago .

I`m pretty sure the bumper is the same as a bus one. At least it is on later split buses.
