Come join DKK for their Second Annual Cruise into the New Year at the Beachfire Bar and Grill in Ladera Ranch on Sunday January 2nd at 11 a.m. for an air cooled gathering and Holiday feast. Bring your VW and a healthy appetite for a rockin' time. Hang out, eat, watch some football if you like, and see if we unfold a few surprises. See yah there! This is an open invitation and we encourage all VW groups and individuals to attend. Does anyone plan to get together for the drive down there?
I'm thinking of going, but it would be cool to cruise down with some other Bugs in a caravan. Anybody between Whittier and there have any like ideas?

This sounds good to me! My house or Ruby's, as long as the weather is good that day, the way it's been lately. I'll let Randy know unless he see's this post first. Note: I have plenty of parking across the street from me. St Bruno's is across the street with no access, so parking is not a problem, even on Sunday, but either way.

Well we have a great cruise planned! It's mostly 4 or 6 lane roads with great vistas and long lines of sight as well as minimal traffic signals. I planned it with photographers in mind so there will be plenty of areas for side by side cruising and great panoramas. Also these roads should be great regardless of the weather though I think we're gonna be looking a pretty nice day. Most of them are posted 50mph+ too!
Should be a great drive!

The girls and I test ran the cruise route that Rick drew out today. Absolutely beautiful drive, great scenic views of Orange County, many flowing open straits, few signals AND some fun curvy roads too!!  It was a fabulous drive through many beautiful parts of Orange County. Fantastic job Rick!! Without a doubt... I know everyone will enjoy the cruise to Nick's |
