another part needed fixing was the shift rod coupler. When I was younger everything needed to be urethane because red makes you go faster.
The only part left for 39 year old Glauco to fix was the shift rod coupler (apart from the urethane silent blokcks on the Mohr racing transmission mid mount, but that's something for this winter)
The coupler worked fine with the old gearbox, but after the full rebuild and upgrade I had a hard time finding first, after adjusting the shifter I had a hard time finding 4th.
you could also really see the play in the urethane/screw setup
Saw a billet empi coupler at EBI so bought that and installed it yesterday. Havent driven it yet, but I have no trouble finding the gears now...
