where to start since the last update..?
I really wanted to go to EBI with the car so the last few weeks should have been filled with KG-madness. Sadly my dad past away a few weeks ago so I had lost the courage for a few weeks to do anything on the car.
because of all the work my dad and I put into the car, the only right thing to do was to get it done asap. In a way the car helped me cope with the los.
Long story short, I made it to EBI, had a very fun weekend and got some cool compliments.
But for me there are some major hurdles to be taken in the next few weeks to get the car to where I can be extra proud.
friday morning the car had 15km's on it before the departure to chimay, witch is about 200km from my house.
despite it using 20l/100km and leaked oil from what I think is the crank case seal, the car performed flawlessly.
there is a slight colour difference on the front hood and rear valance that need to be addressed by the painter asap, but nothing that can't be fixed.

Super cool you made it to EBI even if the KG's not 100% finished yet. We have winters to focus on details and finish cars!
Glad you pulled through the dreadful days of you dad passing. It's sort of a "good thing" it weighs on you, means you guys had a strong connection!
It's just a shame of that fugly 914 in the picture, that ruins the shot imho.
