Well I am sure this is something our man SPEEDWELL can help us with but how about a REAL Cal Look SURVIVOR Thread   I am talking about ORIGINAL Cal Lookers From Back in the day, Preferable UNRESTORED  So lets see what you you got guys |

Well, not that my car nor I was ever famous in the day, but back in 1975/76 I took this '53 and built into the standard and style of the time. Genuine BRM's, Porsche "A" brakes, seats and color, a close ratio gearbox, a BERG 1776 with heads ported by Gene. I had a lot of fun in it. In 1977 when I was driving it I was a founding member of the Der Selten Kafers.
Then I shoved it into storage,and here is how it sits today, My genuine survivor .
Unfortunately, my "today" photos exceed the maximum size to attach.

Me, being a just a professional car restorer, have not a clue as to how to resize the photo files, otherwise I would.
I still have the same 6 BRM's I bought off of Mike Sellers. That was a few decades ago- He was still a DVB member, not chief of police like today.

This thread is a great idea. Bryan's former car is one of my favorites ever. Steve, if you can't figure out the pictures, I'm sure any number of us would be happy to help with resizing, myself included. |
