Gents,
I am finishing up a Porsche 356 engine. The codes and numbers say it is a 912 engine, with....what is it... 105 stock EU HP. I have a big bore kit on it (86 mm) ad some refreshened intake-ports, so it should be all right.. BUT - I am missing the flywheel and clutch fo rit. I notice in most 356 catalogs and EBay auctions....the flywheels and discs listed shall fit "any 356 and 912" motor... which is fine... But I have a feeling both items are exactly the same as on "some type of" VW-engine. Does anybody know the details? From what VW engien will the flywhell fit straight on th my late 356/912 1600 ccm Porsche engine? (If any...) Thanks in forehand..

The dowell pin holes on the 356 flywheel are smaller than a VW.
The clutch however, will fit either.
