tom , I think the grey color works well with your car, maybe do like danny says and go with the grey insert material. I like your fabric. You gotta like ted's all black look too. Here is my hounds tooth color mix . Goes well with bahama blue. Seat frames just painted, as new german grey square weave carpet next. Kinda small shot of my door panels with matching material . Painted brm spokes grey hoping to get a little similar contrast. I think it's great getting alot of feedback from everyone. but it's your car, do what YOU like. bill

Clean, nostalgic Look, Bill.
Love that vintage looking tach ... need to see & hear more about that!
Your car is definitely Old School ... in a new way.
Does that make sense?

When's it gonna RUN? Grin

tom, can run soon, as oil in motor, just need final wiring to dist from compufire dual coil pack, mounted in hat shelf to distributor. I wanted as little wiring in eng compartment, plug wires go through firewall, underneath to coil pack. doug berg made a fiberglass cover, painted grey, looks like metal. Going to carpet guy soon? WEATHER ? Hope to go to top gun raceway next weekend, doug to dial in ken's street car for 60 ft times. MAYBE make a pass in my car with cheater slicks, m an h slicks recapped by caldwell tire. Gives the car a cool stance, nice rake... bill

OK ... I've developed some ideas ...

Dark/Navy blue seats, fat biscuit centers in blue or contrasting black&white/grey fabric.
Door panels in blue as well with fat biscuit panel and carpeted bottom.
Matching dark blue square weave carpet with rubber floor mats only ... carpeted tunnel.
Headliner in perforated bone/white with matching blue detail.

I can see it in my head ... would even be cool with some sort of aftermarket seat as long as it's low-back ... stock lows are very good too.

HMMMM....

Uh Oh ... focus just went to engines  Grin ... over & out.

So, I'm still thinking along the same lines I was before ... thanks to those pushing me along on this Wink
So many great examples to be found in this post and other threads! There are 3 or 4 that really stand out! I had been considering switching to a different, non-stock seat but I really like the look I've seen with some of the custom touches done so I'll most likely stick with my old low-backs. I'm currently looking/deciding on possible insert materials ...
The hardest part for me will most likely be finding someone in the area to do the work! I'm pretty stubborn when it comes to letting someone else do pretty much anything for me. I know, I know ... a personal problem LOL!

So, as much as I'd like to say, "Will be done next week, I'm told, and I'll post pics then ...", it's BACK TO WORK for me.
OnO for now,
