carlito , not sure than speedwell made some small dish steering wheels

i've the same as you and this came from a french car if i remember and those were on boat  Wink
here's mine  Wink

Your's deeper.

Formula have equiped many cars and other stuff...
Simca, Jaguar, Mini, Lotus, VW, ...

There's 3 type of deep for 15" Furmula

and 2 type in 13"

For the 15", there is 5 kind of finish.

But you're right.
Speedwell chose the deep dish in the Formula collection.
There's too different kind :
The new one with black boss kit, Speedwell horn button and more dark.
The old one in natural finish with silver boss kit and standard bus horn button.

is this the same ?

Does anyone know where I can buy the Speedwell, Formula one from.
I do see that Flat 4 are doing a copy, are they any good.
I am guessing its just watching eBay UK?
And are the Speedwell horn pushes available.
Thanks

I've just bought a really rather lovely NARDI wheel for my '54 bug, but I'm struggling to find a suitable boss for it.

Can anyone suggest where I might get one from?

Thanks
Niko

Ps Am I correct in thinking that the steering column splines on a '54 bug are the same as a 356 Porsche?

I have been trying to find a 15 inch Formula but I haven't seen any deep dish come up on ebay at all?
I will just keep looking unless anyone knows where else I can look?
Thanks

Thanks
I am just having trouble decieding on a steering wheel.
I would like a Speedwell but I cant find one I can afford!
And I am not sure on the repro ones.
My interior will accept either a woden or black wheel, i am now leaning towards black.
Just found one I quite like its the GT 500 sold by ISP West, any feedback appreciated.

Found this wheel on eBay and had it modified to fit an ISP boss, I think it's off an old Vette

Bought mine 15 years ago for 10 DM.

Looks like the Empi GT and there´s a Empi stamp from behind, but normaly they are all in wood.
Think i´ve some Mustang or other V8...could that be?

Tom, I'd have to check my catalogs but if I remember correctly EMPI did offer a composite (faux wood) steering wheel. If yours has the Empi stamp on it, I'd venture a guess that it's real.

Have any of you all ever seen a steering wheel like this one? It's faux wood but otherwise a very nice construction. I like the extended hub on it but have never seen another steering wheel like this. There are no makers marks.
