That's what happens when people do drugs. Plain and simple. Unless there's a more logical explanation.

Just... wow.

The car was made for Fast and Furious, maybe they needed place in the front for a camera or something, so they put a VW engine...

Well, let's look at it this way: the import tuner scene has a very successful (financially speaking) chain of movies promoting their little niche market, whereas the VW scene has, what, the forty year old Herbie the Love Bug series? Grin

Those poor engineers at Nismo, TRD, Mugen etc... making race purpose cars that people turns into tuners/ricers/purple/pink/noisy/smoking machines in doubtful movies  Roll Eyes Thankfully a few are used the way they are supposed to be, on a race track.

By the way I want the FIA LeMans/GT's or Japanese GT's championships on TV instead of Formula 1, it's far less boring.

We also can't see it a lot here on the "regular" channels (unless for those who have cable and satellite TV).

That skyline would make a great drag car. Imagine the reaction people would have watching it stand on the back bumper.  Grin

I think it's on ESPN now, and there's the "new" Global Rallycross Championsip, which I caught the end of after the NHRA drag racing the other day. I love having cable!

As far as the skyline goes, I've seen it before and seem to remember that it was built as a stunt car for the Fat and Flatulent films, for clattering down some steps and other jump type stunts. Tweak the stance and put one of UD's 4" motors in it with a turbo...
