Hi All

One of my friends is organising a little vw/porsche gathering in Croyde, North Devon on 29th May 2011. Would be good to see some nice cal-look cars there. It's £10 per car, with any profits going to a breast cancer charity(one of our club members wive's was recently diagnosed and is receiving treatment). Will make a nice alternative to Plymfest and Run to The Sun, this is all about the cars and family!

It is going to be limited space so need to pre-book if you want your car there.

Thanks Jamie,
Heres a little more information,

Just wanted to let you all know of an event I'm putting on in Croyde , North Devon on 29th May 2011.
The idea is to have a chilled out day by the beach in our Dubs & classic Porsche's, there will be just a couple of food vendors, just a couple of local VW specialists & then invite a couple of chilled out singers, performimg accoustic numbers while those that want to sit on there picnic blankets or hay bales, sun bathing & listening, but all very non invasive. We plan to be open from 8am till 8pm, so you can catch an early surf & chill out at at the end of the day with a BBQ (Bring your own).

THE BIG IDEA IS CHILL, by one of the best beaches for surfing , sun bathing, a great day out with the family, surrounded by some superb motors.

A subject unfortunately close to alot of us is Cancer, last year my best mates wife Nikky was diagnosed with Breast Cancer, she has had an operation , which was successful, but now has to go through chemo, with this in mind , I wanted to raise money for "Force" http://www.forcecancercharity.co.uk , who support not only the person with the illness but equally important & in need of answers & support, the family.
I want to try to get a full selection of models parked together, just for something different , for example

T5
T4
T25
Late Bay
Early Bay
Split
Barndoor
Beetle Convertible
Beetle Saloon
Baja
Beach Buggy
Squareback
Notchback
Fastback
T34 Ghia
Ghia
Trekker
shout if I've forgotten anything

As most car parks in the area will charge £6 ish per day, so I think £10 per vehicle would be really good value to park in the location below together with some Awesome motors, good company & a few extras
the idea is that all people that want to attend will email me to register ( bobburrows68@googlemail.com ) & within a day or two the bank account will be ready & then I'll do the same as Dubs at the Beach in Paignton & ask for everyone to pay their entrance by PayPal as we are limited on numbers that we can fit in & I don't want people to travel , only to be turned away.
It will also make entering quicker & easier causing less congestion, so please email me asap so I can let you guys know first when the Pay Pal is ready.

So hopefully everyone else will think its a cool idea too,  I'm working at the Facebook page as we speak & thank you to those who have registered, can you please log on search for "Big Sunday" in attractions/things to do & tick you like, if we can get 25 fans we can get a proper address,

Heres the location  Cool

We went down to the site yesterday  Cool  Cool  Cool
