Not a VW engine but still very impressing;

Maximum power is 412hp @ 11500 rpm and 28.18 kgr torgue @ 9700 rpm with MotoGP fuel.

Its a privately built Cossie YB engine destroked to 1914cc. It has custom rods, Supertech custom build pistons, compression is 17:1. Custom made crank, dry sump. It uses a stand alone engine management - Haltech E8 with sequential injection.

Here we are struggling with 100hp pr.liter...... Tongue

This is wildly insane! Closing in on formula one for sure. F1 is around 308 horses pr liter.
There is always that NA 1915 in sweden, closing in on 240 horses...

Yeah - that Swedish T1 engine is mighty impressive too! I do believe Honda has the record for production cars with their S2000 - 120hp/liter! The Ford above is insane with 215hp/liter. It would have been interesting to watch them build it.

Very nice. There's a 1.8 BDA engined Escort over here in the 9's, don't know what HP but a few I guess.  Smiley
