I didn't make it over to the car show area, so when we came across Marc's car as we were leaving I HAD to stop and check it out! Definitely the highlight of my day!

Yeah Zach... ya didn't even come buy and say "hi" <sniff>  Cheesy

I had a great day!!! Scored lots of goodies in the swap area, a nice rear bumper for my daughters ghia, a license plate frame for the same car that reads "PLEASE DON'T TAILGATE" Grin, a very nice 40 hp shroud, and a repro sprintstar that fell off the Empi display and got minor damage and will make a great spare for the new squareback I cruised out to the event in. I've had 2 notchbacks in the past, the last one was at the show yesterday, but never a squareback, I gotta say that I'm diggin squarebacks. I was able to haul all my goodies home in it and didn't have to look for a friend that drove a truck to bring it home. Sweet!!!

I was soooo busy celebrating Bruce's (61SNRF)  birthday, I forgot to take pics.
I do want to say tho, it was a nice day, & we ended the day with twinkie cakes.
I too saw so many people from years past, Roger Grago, Keith Goss, Frenchy,
and Don Musselwhite too. But the definite highlight (for me) was to meet
Tero & Sanna !! Wink  Lookin forward to the Classic!!!

Thank you, everyone, for the props. I enjoy doing that for The Lounge. You've all been most kind to D.K.K. and we fully appreciate that a lot.

Gunter, this is COOL! Thank you very much.

Nice day with great friends. Just keeps gettin better! Oh the VW's are a plus too.

D.K.K. Fred likes this.

Well, went though some more pics from this year's Bug-In. Another shot of the D.R.A. cars.

D.D.S. car.

Another view of Luppino's Java Green car.

Joe in the white car, Junior in the red car, and behind the Bus... Toni Ramirez driving Mark's white car.

Dawn patrol at Del Taco's parking lot... DEEK style. Just like we did thirty some odd years ago. Ain't life grand?

Fabien and crew on the way home.

Speaking of Christelle & Fabien... thank you both VERY MUCH for this shot! It's getting printed and framed. I have a shot like this in my orange '66 coming back from Bug-In 30,, taken by my best friend, Bob Rey (TOPNOTCH). Gonna look cool hanging on the wall together.

That picture totally makes my day complete.

Of Course   My best friend in Texas had sent me a " Rocket Science T- Shirt  "
So that was my red  shirt of the day. I was Rockin' it because I didn't get a DSK
shirt when they were last printed. Thanks to the motormania (c)  crew !!  Wink

By the way Mr. Texas Tom, allow me to pre-introduce Don Musselwhite / friend from DVB & friend
of the SHOOB - E ...  he is in San Angelo, with family in Austin. He just bought a '67 Cal look.

I doth agreeth. It also has over two hundred of those horsepower things under the 'lid.

Deano, that D.R.A. shot is classic. I was complimenting  Ed & Marc on their cool shirts. Really dig those embroidered button ups.

Here are the photos I had in front of my Ghia.  Most from the early 70's.  Photo on upper right.  Rick Brubakens '68. Middle is my '51 and Frenchy's small window.  Bottom Kerry Morris's drag car.  On the left, upper is from a DRA display at the Bug in at OCIR.  Lower, club shot ay DRA Club House.  DRA decal pictures is from Mac's split before start of restoration.

Nice train.

Man, I wish I could'a been there.  Joe Larsen's ride is looking sweet.  Kudos to my Deek brothers, once again you all seem to have been the life of the party.  Who wore the lamp shade on their head?

Great pics all.

Kudos.

This is to Ed Craig.

Ed, in your 'today' photo of the DRA members, is that the Porsche part Kerry Morris?  Over the years I have had business dealings with Kerry for the most rare and needed of Porsche Prototype parts, but it's been a long time since I saw him.
Just wondering? Thanks
