Having to spend three days in Calif for the Bug-In was going to be a great event stating with Friday evening at Nick's burger where DKP put on a show to start the weekend.  Lots of nice cars and members from various club attended.  Saturday morning at Cars and Coffee in Irvine was definately the highlight of my weekend indeed to be able and see Roger Grago long time DKP friend and who was the person I had looked at after seen his Ghia at the Bug-In and Roger inspired me to build a Ghia the rest is history but I was very happy to see him and enjoying the day. Next was Doug Mische who found his Ghia a few months back. All three of us together in a picture was a great day at last.  I had a friend with me Don Musselwhite former member of DVB and now rejoined after 35 years Don took these pictures with all three Ghia buddys together. Also in the picture is Mark Souter also a member of DVB back in the days and before that Mark was in Keep on Bugging. Roger also enjoyed the evening at the Host hotel on Saturday where he check out my collection of various memorabilia from past Bug-In and from various club at the time. We talked for some time about the old days and was a great evening to remember.

  Thanks
  Frenchy

Very cool, Frenchy. It was great talking with you all at Cars & Coffee about the Ghia and other things. Looking forward to seeing what you end up with.

Two images from that morning.

Wait... Mark Souter was there? WOW, wish I would've known that. Haven't seen him in over thirty years.

As you wish, Keith. But, honestly, I don't see a problem with the image.

 Huh
