Note the fourth car in line, and the only one with four people standing next to it, wondering what it was doing there.  It really is amazing to think of what that car did.  Note the type 2 as well, on the left. 
For rod fans, the article is on the lead car in line, which also did double duty at El Mirage/Bonneville and Lions.  It was recently uncovered and pulled from decades of storage, with the parachute from the Last Drag Race at Lions still in the trunk!  Cool history.
