Greggs car is all kinds of cool , why stop at the muffler ? I want the whole thing!!!
You'd only drink a ton of beer, fall out into the garage and chop it... Then look what trouble you'd get into?

I apologize in advance for the poor picture quality and horrible "framing" on these photos but here's some of the 400+ that I took this weekend.

(These are just from Nicks. I'll add the classic ones later if there's interest)

Pat, your car looked killer! I really dug the QP's and the wheel change. Stance was spot on.

What, nobody got a picture of MY new glasspack at Nick's/Classic? Sad

After struggling for two years whether or not I was going to take off the stock muffler, elrick talked me out of the Pee-Shooters! So, I finally put on an extractor exhaust and a Glasspack from Bill and Steve's just for old times the week before the Classic...

Thats what I thought Deano! While not cal look by definition, it is very nostalgic and looks like a car straight out of 1981.

Not my cup of tea... a lot of those accessories are the sorts of things I would think are best left in the past...no offense to whoever the owner is, just not my taste.  Grin

With the right wheels/tires/stance it *might* be a cool looking car...

Nice to see all the magneto's mounted up.  I recently bought one for my cal-look build for that period performance look.  Could this be a new trend? Wink

I ran a mag in the wayback (1979-80)-- and took it down to Joe's for a freshen up -- man, his shop was buried way down in Torrance?Huh? -- walked in there and there was nobody there but Joe working all by himself ( he seemed like he was 60 back then LOL)-- this shop was about 50' wide and a mile deep (from what I remember lol) He must of had 20-30 drill presses and assorted other machines all lined up and it was set up that each machine did one thing then he would go to the next and it would do the next thing and on and on was a cool setup -- so he gave my mag his blessing -- and he then goes, "You want to see my new hobby???". .. .. Well, Hell ya whatcha got -- So he walks me back through into another section of his shop (we are in the way, WAY back section by now) and he is restoring 60's Indy cars .. .. WOW, and I  mean WOW. He has 4 or 5 of the old front engine Indy cars there in various states of restoration and I mean they were beautiful!!!!! I'm looking around and taking it all in and I look at this wall with pallet racks and start starring at it trying to figure what is on these shelves and then it dawns on me -- -- engines -- he has at least 20-25 Offy and drake engines -- still new and still in the shipping containers .. ... ... .. Wonder what all that stuff is worth today?Huh

Sorry for the hijack -- just a great memory I thought I'd share
