Hi

I buy a Racecar in Maryland 5 Years ago.
The Car was in bad Condition and i restore the complete Car.
Its a 1968 er Bug with Flipfront.
The Dealer say to me the Cage is building by Sartwell...??
Can anyone help me to become more info from the Story about the Car?
I think they was long Time ago a Racecar,i think he runs in Texas for Dragracing and the Colour under 5 Layers other colour was Gold.
The Startnr on the Window was 5443
Please help me to find the Story about the Car!
By the Way,he runs now a great 11.4 with a 2180 Engine Wink

Thanks and regards from a Newbie from Switzerland

I think that Larry is referring to Jimmy Sartwell. See the thread at http://www.cal-look.com/forum/vw-drag-racing/jimmy-sartwell-racecars-contact-information

You may also want to check with Scott Pocaro ("Krylon Monster" - spotspeed@yahoo.com) and/or post in the "What happen to all the old east coast drag vw" thread at http://www.cal-look.com/forum/vw-drag-racing/what-happen-to-all-the-old-east-coast-drag-vw
