Hi at all,
have questions about Velocity Stacks for 48 ida.
What are the best and fit without modifications under the hood ?
(I like the optics of the gene berg Velocity stacks)
Please help and post a pic if you have

Berg stacks will only fit under the lid if you use short manifolds.

I'm running Jaycee stacks. These combined with the pro fuel inlets made my car 2 tenths quicker on the 1/4 mile.
12.1 to 11.9

Recently ran some back to back tests on a 2332cc engine fitted with 51IDAs, comparing stock velocity stacks against the larger style.
On the flowbench, the larger, more flared stacks flowed exactly the same cfm as the stockers. The test was carried out on a Comp Elim head, fitted with manifold, carb locked in WOT position and velocity stack in place.
For the second test I dynoed the engine with stock stacks, then did several pulls with the larger stacks. Zero difference.

add to this, that the IDA jet stack will perform as the italians intended with their own stacks.
