Hello I just purchased a flanged crank. Im thinking of using it in a large stroker engine on the street. It is not ideal because of the thrust not having any gliding bearings (which is what the original shims are used for).  Anyone that has experience running a flanged crank on the street? It is a 88mm with chevy journals.

can not be clutch happy...dont hold in at lights, at start...never on start anyway...and get the center thrust done if it is a viable option for you
