Is the aronson replica now in scottland Is that the one that Scott Bakken built? Glad I got to see it the one and only time I attended the Classic back in 2002. Always loved that car. You probably saw it in Phoenix, too...

So when are we gonna start calling it "The Scotland Look?" Rick, It is called the Scot look everywhere except South California where they call it Cal look, we didnt tell you guys as we didnt want to destroy your dreams. The original cal look invented by a Scotsman "Ivan Hurst" around 1946, where decromed was standard

Wasn't Ivan's nick name "Floor Shift" or was it "4-Speed" I forget.

That's true! 2004... And in hindsight, I saw it in Super Gas trim in Sacramento a couple years ago, too... the first impression at the 2002 Classic was the best one, though, loved the detail. You probably saw it in Phoenix, too...

I kinda expected it to wheelie immediately, but I left the line a little soft and it was only when it came on the cam that the wheels came up. The next pass, I blew the tyres away instead. Somewhere between the two launch rpms lies the 'g-spot'! Looks like you found the "G" spot in Deans picture on the other thread!! I thought we weren't posting those "special" pictures of you!!

Very cool photo, Fabs! I don't have any of me doing the wheelie (for obvious reasons!) so it's great to see! Looking at Fab's photo I think its Deano you need to have a word with

And Shin – he was further down the track than Deano. Deano's photo is awesome, though!

Hi Jo! Thanks for posting the vid! What you don't see in the vid is that my carb-linkage came off in 4th gear... Fortunately I stopped racing due to a ticking noise, you can hear it while staging. I took the engine apart last week, a valve slightly hit a piston. That's what happens if you show up at the track without testing before... Saludos, Ole

This was Deano's.
Both are kick-ass shots. I really like Fab's with Inch Pincher in the other lane. Too freakin' cool, guys!
