Well after playing around the internet for a few hours yesterday did a search to find Geno Combs. Geno e mailed me this afternoon and tonight we talk for 30 minutes or more. I will see Geno in September and we are planning to have lunch together and talk about the good old days. Geno is looking to do an other VW in the near future but for now it is great news for myself and other VW enthusiast to know that he is doing well and looking forward to get back in the VW Notchback scene LOL !!!!!!.

VERY COOL! Great news and thanks for sharing, Frenchy. Remember his light blue late model Bug with the EMPI eight spokes? It ended up in our club (for people that didn't know that).

Is he still in SoCal? Will he be going to the Jamboree?
Ask him to register here and join the fun!
Give him my best regards too,

I was in California last week for a couple of days for meeting in Torrance. I decided on my way home I would stop by Steve Tims's shop to see how they are doing we BS for a while and decided to call Geno Combs as I had told him I would like to chit chat before returning home to Phoenix. Well after talking about the good old days Geno told me he was looking to find a 67 beetle and to build a nice motor with IDA'S and to get back in the scene. I will keep all of you posted once I hear more on his future project.
