So, at the beginning of the year, I picked Kimi to be champ and a friend picked Alonso.  Looks like we both may have underestimated Hamilton and Massa!
Anyone else F1 fans out there?

Wow!  Imagine that!

Truth be told, by the end of the year I would have liked to see Hammie win.  Kimi really earned it though!

I used to be an Alonso fan until his actions this year.  I cannot respect a man who freely makes public statements against his team.
Whether his comments were based on fact or not, it is reprehensible to badmouth your team to the press.  Even worse in this case was how eager he was to cause problems within the team!

I also find it ironic that his biggest complaint was that he was not granted #1 status in the team, but then later in the year did nothing but complain that Hamilton might be given an advantage and that this was unsporting.  Make up your mind Fernando....shoould there be a #1 driver or not?  I guess it is only sporting when you are being given the advantage?!?!  Huh Roll Eyes

I hope this fuel thing does not affect Kimi's championship as it will be bad for the sport, but I was listening to Peter Windsor earlier and made some interesting points.  This fuel temp issue is not some minor arcane rule.  This is one of the important parameters on each teams monitors in the garages.  There is no way that they could not have been aware of the problem.   It was also interesting that BMW has already been warned about this infraction once this year.  It is indeed a serious infraction,  so this could get ugly....  Embarrassed

I can see Alonso moving to To#¤ta next season.

An excellent race on Sunday, a shame for Hamilton, but for a rookie, what a season. I am a big Kimi fan and was pleased he managed to win the title this year, Ferrari really are masters where tactics are involved and Sunday proved it.
