The Kab is for sure top shelf, doesn't get better than that in the vintage scene.

Crazy prices, for sure... puts to shame the couple of grand I have wrapped up in my 2017, which will be getting parted out in the months to come.  I'm learning there are much more affordable ways to have fun than the money pits known as cars. Lol.  I'll settle for being a spectator until I can afford/have the desire to spent incessant money on whatever project I happen to be working on.

You can ask any price you want, but will someone actually pay you that much ?
For that kind of money, I'd rather have that black Hebmuller with the Denzel motor.

HAHA!! Alright, then if I obtain the same hallucinogenic mushrooms as that guy... my '67 can be sold for $81,000.

Please... there is no way anyone's going to pay those silly prices for that car. Nice car, by the way, just hilarious to see what people think they can get for 'em. He'll be lucky to get $50-$75K.

Not arguing at all, I loved that Heb, but aren't early Karmann's actually rarer than Heb's?

For that kind of money, I'm thinking GT3 RS Smiley

where the pleasure to built a $$$ show car and sell this one after some times Huh  you know that you will not certainly sell this one at the $$ you've paid to built that one

sometime i asked my self , the price i would ask to sell my car , but certainly not a high price like the convertible , at  it's just a volkswagen , transformed or not, I am not sure that it is worth a price if to raise  Huh

You can have cheaper fun with a mildly tuned stock dual port 1600, dual single carbs, a 010/009 and a good exhaust  Wink

The history of owner's brother's neighbor's brother is really touching.
Did you notice that Max Hoffman is mentioned, but when you read the text further it's quite obvious that the seller just don't know the car history before 1976 and Hoffman's name is just a bait. 'NOS mega-rare Denzel engine' is a simmilar bait. NOS engine that was fired up 2 years ago? Isn't it a contradiction?
The 159 000 $ is not a price of a VW. It's an investment (probably a bad one). The Bug and it's value has nothing to do with it. It could as well be some junk bond.

How much to build that bus?
$50k for paint and body
$10k for interior
$5k to rebuild the stock drivetrain.
