IIRC, the correct running board mats are Sand Beige for the '67-'68 Beetles that were painted L620 Savanna Beige...ie. the board mats "contrasted" rather than matching the body paint.  I have an original '68 Beetle and when my original running boards gave out, I purchased the Sand Beige mats from WW and they were the same colour.

Fender Beading, however, is the Savanna Beige colour and it shows up on thesamba.com periodically...that's where I purchased mine (try Danny Zapeda).  I tried the aftermarket beige beading and it was garbage, IMO.  Better to hold out for NOS or good used beading.  Good luck!
