i am not much of a machininist myself, but i got tired of sending my case to the local machine shops here and get crap work, and have to send many times to get the end result.

is there a tool or some drill bit i can buy so i can try to do this myself with my drill press?

If you are increasing the torque on the main studs and perimeter bolts/studs i would check your bore with a dial bore gauge as the crank bore starts to close up with torque increase around the 28/30 lb, though there is a sweet spot, more torque and no distortion.
Or torque to your selected spec and get the case line bored with all the studs and bolts torqued.

Never did it, never any problems. Torque change? On the 8mm studs round the edge of the case? No way. Just my 2c.

cool. yes i have exchanged messages with Felix before.

you used Berg's recommendation on the torque specs?
