A few pics of my folks new oval, circa 55'/56'. The brat in the back would be me  Grin

Can anyone pin point the exact year of the car? It's always been a mystery to me.

That would make sense, probably a 56' bought in the 55' calendar year. My mum inaccurately recalled
it as the first model with dual tailpipes, kinda confusing for a little kid. By the way this is the first time
I've seen these photos, which were taken back in 57'.

Fortunately, by that time I had grown out of the phase where I disrobed and exposed myself to passing
motorist's (terrible 2's?) wil riding in the back of our previous car.  A truly hideous Dodge Club Coupe.                         Grin

Did anyone else's parents put their kid to sleep over the parcel tray (aka 'Toy Box'). Lulled to sleep by mechanical sounds and scratched

to death by square weave carpeting?  Cheesy

D.B.O. Not a club; a state of mind.

My sister and I would race to see who got to sleep in the luggage well behind the rear seat in our VWs and the Corvair that we had in the sixties. The engines would make for some nice sleep on road trips and vacations.
