Ebay Help

Hi
Has anyone ever come accross an ebay auction before where you can't ask the seller a direct question? I'm interested in these (
http://www.ebay.com/itm/160674254404?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649
) as inspired by Steve Beecher's sleeper but can't contact the seller to see whether they will open the auction to international buyers ( i currently can't bid). The auction only allow you to look at standard answers to standard questions!
Thanks
Richard

why don't you contact the member directly from there profile rather then the listing.

Go to where it says "Ask the seller a question" and click on "other" at the bottom of the list.
Then click on "continue" and go ahead and ask your question !

Hi Richard
I'd tried that...but rather than give me theopportunity to ask a question it states: We're sorry we couldn't find an answer for you. Unfortunately, this seller is not able to respond to your question. We suggest reviewing the item again to see if your answer is in the seller's listing. !!
Perhaps it is because I am overseas? Shame...as one day to go and it is a good price!
Thanks
Richard

I asked him for you and this was his reply:
"No the cost of shipping would be more than they were worth. Chevs of the 40s is where I bought them on line and they would probably ship them."

Hi Richard
Many thanks! It is because of the shipping cost ($60 to $70 depending on supplier) that I thought that they looked a good price! Usually private sellers offer a better shipping price too. The hot rod shops in NZ sell them for NZ$260 plus shipping...that is over $200US plus shipping.
Never mind I'll keep looking! Thansk again for checking for me.
regards
Richard
