not a bad install at all! louisa's bug is coming together quite nicely, she's gonna have a ball with it!!
digging the buggy bars too, but how about trying the bend the rear bar a tad more upward? that's what I did with mine.

The buggy bar is just rested on the mufflers at the minute , so is hanging down . How did you fit yours Diederick ? I made a bracket for the front , off the original bumper mounts .

Cheers , Rob

it wasn't easy to fix the buggy bar at the rear
i've maded an homemade bracket , not the most beautiful one , but , it works , and with that dual QP it wasn't possible to fit the buggy bar because the mufflers is against the fenders  and valence

rob here's mine  Roll Eyes

Put some socks on man!!  Grin

lovely colour! and good job on the head liner, i've got a soft spot for 1200's....owning one, just a shame they only came with the 2/3'rds head liners, was it hard to fit that full length one?

The car is actually a 1300, so no problem on the headliner .

Somehow I just found this thread, love the look of the bug Rob, the colour and wheel / tyre combination definitely take it back to a different era!

Not touched the bug for a few months , rolled it out of the corner and fitted some running boards and a few other little bits . Not far off now !

very cool rob! try to bend that rear buggy bar a bit further, so that it covers the full rear apron in that rear shot.
that's at least what i did, i think it brings out the lines of the car better.

Looks great!
Love the rims.

How does it ride with the tall 14s on it, instead of the 65 or 70 profile 15s? Does it squiggle a bit round bends, or can't really notice much?

She's only driven it a 1 mile , so not sure how the tyres are . The rears are now michelin XAS , so not as tall as the old cross plys .

The interior is Standard black , no carpet yet .

Yes it will be at EBI this year , got some small jobs , and to re-fit the engine .

Thanks , Rob
