For those guys in Europe, where do you get heater channels from? Are they just made by Klokkenholm (which seems to be all that is available) or are there better quality ones available?
I am interested really in 68-> ones
Cheers

I got my pair from Volkswarenhaus (see
www.volkswarenhaus.de
) in Germany.
They cost me 200 without tax + shipping costs to Croatia. Not cheap, but they were apsolutley perfect and I still don't regret for that expense.
Just remember, if you find original heater channels, they come without bottom panels. You need to buy them separatley.
I bought mine closing panles from Hookey's, again great part that fits from the first time without trimming...
You can see some pictures of my car over here (this is second page), as my bug is under serious restoration:

I did buy few years ago OEM ones, one i got from volkswarenhaus and one from
http://www.vw-classicparts.de/
. I think they did cost me almost 600 euros including bottomplates.
Second best option would have been from J/P i think, some german shop sells them, this is it if remember correctly:

Same heaterchannel is most expensive at CIP

Thanks, I think I might give the Dansk ones from that German shop a go. Can't be worse than the klokkenholm ones.
VW Classic Parts only have the LHS original ones now

Thanks Alex, they just have the Klokkenholm channels now. They do have one side of the Vw bottomplates though (but I already have the Hookies ones of these)

Hookies bottom plates are great, you just can't go wrong with them (I used them for my project).
Holes in bottom plates were 100% match to Wolfsburg West "grey pan halves".
