Started some testing on the wheelie bar sensor

New piston

Filled the cylinder with oil

Put it in the press

Over 500kg

And next to no movement I think that is in the seals so nothing to worry about the wheelie bar will not move

So know I can make a real one fit a sensor and use to collect data Smiley

Andy --- Everything is great!!!! -- -- looking at the wheelie bar sensor, I'm thinking you're going to need something more positive than a spring to keep that together,,,,, Especially if has to hold up the wheelie bar -- -- maybe reduce the size of the piston behind the O-rings then drill a offset hole and install a c-pin to hold it -- or put a flat on the piston and drill/tap a hole for a bolt that doesn't bottom out?Huh

Hi thanks I did draw it with bolts through but I wanted to make sure it can move even a very small amount

Works out to around 600psi @ 450kg of pressure

I'm still here been busy at real work and also helping prep the car for paint

Mocked up the cable shifter

Made a Heater for the transmission

And the last parts for the sequential trans have arrive so time to assemble it the gears have all been made

Cheers andy

Did you manage to get the kinematics to jive without binding, or do you plan to remove some control arms?

hi

its all moves together ok but the front control arm is going as its not needed as I've moved the pivot point of the car to nearly the centre

I relocated the mount of the front (lower) control arm to where you've placed your trailing links; I figured it would be easier to tune anti-squat than where it was mounted on the Porsche.

ZF 4hp22 Tiptronic.
With the 15" wheels and minimal offset, I had no room between the hub carrier and rim to fit a caliper.

Andy -- Great build and a lot of engine porn there --

You might want to think of putting some rubber or some kind of expansion on your intake -- my 2989 cc engine grows so much, as it heats up, that it has broken exhaust studs on the exhaust and pulled intakes loose.

I've added expansion joints on the exhaust and rubber on the intake now and those problems have gone away
