This has taken some serious thinking about but i have decided to sell this rather special car which i bought from Keith Seume.
I'm only selling as i have next to no spare time and limited funds for the motor i'd want to fit.

So the car,also known as 'Bluey' ....

This car has attended US Bug-In, VW Classic and the DKP Cruise Nights,it also had a full feature in Ultra VW magazine August 2010 and was a regular in the magazine following it's time in California.Bluey was also featured and cover car in VW DEPO magazine.




Car details/spec..

The car was subject to a full body off repaint several years ago which included the floorpan repainted two-pack gloss black,it then had new headlights etc and has lucas lights fitted.
The paintwork is very very good although not 100% perfect,there is no rust ! gutters etc are excellent.

INTERIOR -

Cobra RS seats on VW subframes
Nardi 'signature' steering wheel
AutoMeter Ultra-Lite 'Monster' tach with shiftlight and recall etc on billet mount
AutoMeter Ultra-Lite oil temp and pressure gauges
Glovebox signed by several of the 'legends' including Darrell Vittone, Ron Fleming, Anderson Brothers etc
Vintage Speed billet shifter custom-made to suit Berg five-speed
Handbrake lever modified to work as staging brake/two-step switch
Rear seat trimmed to match fronts


TRANSMISSION -

Gene Berg five-speed built by Mike Herbert of Rancho Performance in SoCal
FTC mainshaft
Weddle 3rd/4th gears
3.78; 2.35; 1.58; 1.21; 0.89
Klinkenborg 3.88:1 ring and pinion
Quaife limited-slip differential
JayCee chrome-moly pinion bearing support
H/D pinion retainer
Sway-A-Way race axles

WHEELS AND TYRES -

Flat 4 Fuchs (4.5J and deep 6 rears ) with 145x15 (Firestone) and 205/70x15 tyres
Front disc brakes – new
Rear VW drum brakes fully rebuilt – all new throughout
Hurst line-lock
Braided hoses etc

The wheels are polished but need detailing Wink

OTHER SPEC -

JayCee springplate retainers
Sway-A-Way adjustable springplates
Axle limiting straps
CSP 'torque bar'
Berg solid trans mounts (with weld-in middle mount)
Mallory fuel pump
Large fuel line front to rear
Holley fuel reg with gauge
MSD
Oil cooler and fan
Lexan rear screen (lightweight)
Fuel tank just been repainted gloss black
Taxed until end July 2013

The only thing this car needs is an engine ! Cheesy

Great car,, maybe I should buy her and mate the car back with its motor, as I've got her 2332 that was previously in there !
