I can see that this is not another "internet engine" haha.

A.J Sims claims some impressive numbers with Kads so it must work then in combo with other stuff of course. Cool

yeah this was another one of those motors "that shouldn't work", like some of the other weird crap I've jammed together, like my high school motor.

last time he had it on chassis dyno it made 139hp @ wheels, with belt on and 185 mains. he's trying to tie up a few cosmetic issues in the engine bay, and make a cold air duct/air box under 356 decklid to keed Kadrons and quiet them down. The maybe a real header and muffler, then it gets to go home.

John's customer is still driving the wheels off of it. It had an electrical glitch in ignition swith that was killing voltage to ignition that it just came in for. Motor still strong as a bear.

I did my first motor with 044 "ported" by myself, Kadrons, stock 1302 cam, org. gearbox... This thing did the needle of the speedo into the oillight. So much fun. Never had so much fun again.

We have a customer that went through several combinations (very close to stock) on a 356 kit ...
Finally, when the last burned up a cam, he decided to go for more.
I put together a 76X90.5 (1955cc ... perfect for this kit Wink), 40X35.5 with mild portwork and chambers by myself, 40idfs choked down to 32, and an Engle 120 with HD Berg-modded stock rockers .... compression set at 8.8:1.

As posted earlier, would run 'on the snubbers' through 3rd gear. An absolute BLAST to drive!
Guy still has it ... this was 3 years ago! Runs the crap out if it at all times and nary a problem after all those miles! ... only normal maintenance, couldn't ask for more ...

I'm thinking those cars can't weigh in at much over 13-1400 (?).

BUT, still rather run a Spyder ... now we're talking FUN Wink

Another question would these cams with a fast ramp promote good cylinder filling.
