Okay while it's cold everywhere else, it's a nice sunny 75 degrees here and thought I would try out the wifes new camera. I mounted it with one of those suction cup mounts to the window. Oh and for all you transmission gurus, when in 4th and 5th gear, is that ring and pinion noise were hearing...it's an older Berg unit, shifts beautifully though.... motor is a 2176, blow through turbo, 40 Dells, Crane 120 cam, Scat Super D heads, edis igintion, stf motor all used parts, but the case....enjoy

I love how "streetable" and smooth the engine sounds. Tons of torque, no need to wind it out.

Is that the tranny I hear? What mounts do you have?

hey Glenn, yes very streetable, and I know a close gear box isn't really the best choice for a turbo motor but I love it. Speed limit was 40 so I tried to keep my cool... The gear noise is just that, German mounts with a Berg rubber mid mount....I'm thinking r&p noise, it's noticeable in 4th and 5th gear

I agree with Glenn... very street friendly engine set up and long as you're okay with the close ratio gears... enjoy! Nicely done engine and it looks good, too.

Well thanks for the kind words guys, yes the car does make some great torque, I guess that's do to the smaller carbs (40 Dells) and quick spool turbo (Mazda CX7)...In street trim (the only way I roll) with street tires and muffler I managed a 12.80 @ 105. @ 9 psi.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't that a KP500 cassette?

Super neat...the overlooked interior accessory.

Well that explains the extra buttons along the bottom. TP 900? That thing needs a Nuge tape hanging out of it at all times. Smiley
