009 cap clips

Any suggestions on how to install distributor cap clips for a 009? I bought a bare distributor off the samba, not realizing it was missing the clips along with all other hardware. Never dealt with this before. Looking with suggestions on what to use as pins to re-affix them to the body. I have another distributor I can likely yard the pins out from, but was hoping for some tips on how to attach them.

You just undo the screws on the side of the dizzy which removes the complete clamp/clip etc, couldnt be simpler

I'll look again, as maybe I just missed something at initial glance. Thanks!

Looked at the 009 last night, I was thinking of stock vacuum advance distributors that seem to have a small pin holding the clips in place. Totally makes sense now.
Next question: anybody out there have any old clips for a reasonable price? I checked in with a fellow on the Samba, but he quoted me $17 for the two clips, and, perhaps I'm wrong, but that seemed to be a bit extreme considering I paid that much for this distributor alone.

So you have a 0231 137 009 vacuum only and not a 0231 170 009 mechanical?
If so then the clips are totally different and are held in place with a small pin. You could use the wire from a paperclip if you don't have the original pins. Also the caps are pretty specific and are only available from salvaged cores.

No, my distributor is a run-of-the-mill 009.. what I meant in my last post was I mistakenly was thinking about stock style vacuum advance distributors in terms of clips. It'd been a long time since I last looked at the 009 I'm seeking clips for and didn't realize how different the clips were/are.
