I can tell you for a fact that the badge shown in that auction is a "RE-MAKE" ie cast/copied/moulded/re-made by the seller!

I have had ALOT of original Meyers Manx badges through my hands overs the last few years both metal & plastic - I had a REAL trademarked badge on my manx, and I can tell you for a FACT that is was different to the one in that auction,

The real TM'd badges have "Goldish" colour on the raised areas - even if the badges have been stored for years in a box (like a lot of the badges I had were!) at least SOME of this colouring survives  Undecided

You can also see where he has cut off/shortened the mounting pins after moulding - The REAL badges have a "rounded off" end to the pins, there is also one more giveaway but I am keeping that to myself  Wink

I have seen the metal type badges go for BIG money (max $500/600!) but the platic type never go for more than $250.00 so where the seller even gets this price from is a mystry  Undecided

P.S if anyone wants one of these badges I can supply one at approx 1/10th the auction price Wink Smiley Lips Sealed

No offense, but some dune buggy people should get their heads examined. They follow Bruce around like he's the Messiah, but the should be careful that he doesn't stop short and they get their heads stuck in his butt.

Don't get me wrong, I like dune buggys and appreciate what Bruce has done. But get over it.
