Not mine, but spotted this very nice '57 Oval over at B&R Buggies in Oceanside, CA. Former Cal Look from the past, now with 1600cc engine. Solid, no rust, no hit, with.... get this, Porsche 356 brakes all the way around. Priced right...

That looks like my old friend "Big Wave" Dave Carroll's car, from Encinitas, Deano... at one time, if it's the same car, it had a 1755cc engine, yes, I said 1755, 69mm crank with 90mm NPR slugs 'n jugs...

Kormackie, It could be. Gary found a Hilborn fuel injection shut off under the tank, and the engine compartment has a bunch of old stickers on aluminum panels, and signs of dual IDAs. There's also a 10 grand AutoMeter tach and LineLoc still in the car. It looks like it probably was a bad-ass car at one time in North County....
