I agree
I have been thinking about running the old cab in the 8.5 tyre class, its 1/8 mile only as they think its unsafe to the 1/4,As thats what size tyre it has on it,but seeing the winner run a series of 5.20s@140ish mph made me reailse its going to be hard to compete.

Yes, some of the cars in the "smaller" classes was crazy fast! I wonder what their next move will be? 60ft races? Seeing a couple of the turbo cars pulling their wheels up in 2nd gear was sure worth the wait. I also noticed that the wind did pick up a bit on Sunday.

The guy that won the 8.5 tyre class[black camaro] put his times up,looking at them any further than 60ft races and we would be done
Even then I might go a round once if I am lucky

I will continue with the clutch tomorrow.
Those speakers... oh man. I thought SCC had a good speaker but these guys beat them all. Great racing and really impressive quality on the link. Heck, they even replay all the wheelies.

Hi gavin,
we have talked about it with them before,it sounds like a good event, but personally all the bullshit I got last year from certain people from out there who are in some way involved with the event, even if indirectly, will stop me going,I dont need to be supporting anything they do
