Hey Magne,

don't rely too much on the forecast. Last weekend they said we'll have rain at Bitburg... there was an Autocross-race and they had to water the track to avoid too much dust... Shocked

Never trust the Eifel area! It can rain everywhere but in Bitburg! I experienced that already a few times. So just believe in good weather and we will have dry weather!  Grin

Two more long days...

I'm just charging the batteries and I picked up some fuel (bone stock pump gas of course... Roll Eyes)

If DDD started tomorrow it would be fine by me... Cool

What's up with your car's? Still wrenching? I know some do... good luck to you guys!

If you see that yellow/blue truck and the car with the bad paintjob don't forget to stop by for a chat and a beer...

Take care on your trip to Bitburg, see you there!

Saludos,
Ole

if everything folds we will start friday noon, probably with a watercooled car, the bug isn´t reliably enough for a 500 km trip. Cry

What a show!

Hi guys, hope everybody came home safely! It was a plessure to meet some poeple from the Lounge and to put some faces to names. Good to see all you Norwegians (Jon, Joran and the others – sorry, that I forgot your names!), to meet Fabian, JeePee and so many others. I was happy to speak at least three minutes with my old friend Laurent "El Dub" Dubois, I saw "Sunlike" and didn't realize it was Mauro (great car by the way) from the Lounge and missed to speak to the DVF boys (sorry Wim) also they were just 10 meters away from our club booth. Maybe we can arrange a forums meeting at one time at the weekend next year?

Club-wise we had a good weekend. The turnout of 11 cars out of 15 was great, 10 of them raced, three broke (Dokke, blue 67 – broken Diff; Dirk, brown 67 – engine ceased (is that the correct word?); Tobi, red Oval – ignition failure). Our fastest car this weekend was Jürgens ultramaroon colored Oval with a 12.6 secounds at the quartermile. Congrats to him! Good job!

What I liked: This year less cars showed up at the DAS Drag Day  BUT  these cars were mainly Cal Lookers. No clowns, just serious Cal Look and Gasser fans. Cool! Way to go!

Going to bed now – I am dog-tired! Need a holiday after this weekend!  Cool

Hi Sander,

no, the Oval went home on the trailer without beeing on the strip – sadly! Two weeks ago Tobi did a 12,94 on a not very well strip in Rotenburg and he thought with the better conditions in Bitburg it could be even better. So not this weekend...  Undecided
Cheers,

Georg
