Hey j-f, seems like you mistook me for someone else. That's me:  You didn't dare? Well, that guy with the Army clothes must have looked really dangerous...  I had a great weekend, it's been a pleasure to talk to some of you guys. I've never seen so much high quality AND top-performing Lookers at one place...  Oh, and regarding the weather, actually I didn't had the time to even think about it...  Congrats to the award winners, like Kobus said, there were so much more cars that would have deserved it. Yes it was the best VW event off the year again. I did a faster race than last year,14,969 with a speed of 90 MPH and a reactiontime 0.698. I drive 800 Kilometers and 7 runs without any problem.   Thanks to all the DAS members,and hope to see you all next year. (The 5th,so a party?) |

i very happy to have been able to meet members of the lounge like dfl crew , norvegian friends , and the other that kind of meeting is very cool , We go there as well to see the friends that for vw finally is true for me , and you?? |

It was an fantastic weekend, big fun to meet you! Me was the guy with the sepiabrown wreck.... First run, engine blown! What a mess....

Its was great weekend,i meet Fabin,El dubs,Georg,Webb and other Callook friends. I drive over 3400km this weekend, So too all Callook frinds is only 11 days too SCC gardermoen Raceway. My friends from England will be there,Will other People from Europe be there  |

Also from a swiss point of view, it's been a top weekend! Meeting great people from all over Europe. watching drag racing til sunday afternoon, nothing broken (except for one tent) and a fun 500km road trip with friends in a 2276cc sedan. Was there too in my flat black 1500S. DDD4 was a blast. It was good to see some familiar faces back and Jelle set down a good time on Sunday (13.6 with 2054 cc and OG gearbox). After so many comments, mine will be boring: it was a wonderful weekend, with the best weather we could have got from all over europe, those few rain drops were just enough to clean up the dust out of our cars. Obviously something to repeat, it's nice to be able to say "I was there" where you deeply breathe the true cal look spirit!
My biggest thanks to the DDD, and special compliments to Mat, Ingrid and Mauro for their almost complete 48 IDA's! Big complimehts to all others participants contributing to a spectacular show at their own health (and financial) risk!

This was my first Das Drag Day, and I won´t be my last. Nothing but pure cal-lookers and top-notch people!! It´s a strange feeling to meet people I feel like I have known for years.... for the first time!! So many great guys...and everyone is on the "same page" so to say! The hospitality shown us by the DFL guys was fenomenal, the food was GREAT and the talks even better!! Let us northern guys return the favor some day guys! And the DAS boys sure knows how to throw a great party!!
Das Drag Day ROCKED!!!
Now I will try to rest up for another manic weekend... august is a great month!! See you at SCC!
