Hi Erich
No one is offended by your questions!
Sorry for my late answer, I'm very busy at the moment so please bear with me!
For now the car will only be sold as is with the gearbox! If things change I will let you know!!!

Anders, I guess the chassis is 8.50 approved?
Erich, the gearbox should be quite easy to get rid off. I know at least 3 that is looking for a good, swing axle box with a NA gearing.

Perhaps off topic: I find this strange. Do Denmark have their own rules not compliant to neither FIA or NHRA? Both say that a car with a original chassi can actually use only a roll bar 45 x 3mm (not a full cage) down to 10.00 - 135 mph. Your car has a original chassi and a full cage and as you say yourselves it is legal down to 8.50. Is it the fact that it does not have bars going forward or something else?

I dont think is that strange (only its ok to 8.5 in us) The car does not have a full cage but more tube than a roll bar thats why the Danish tech said ok to 10sek

But you can... in Norway, Sweden, USA and almost every other country where they use the FIA and NHRA rule book.

John, what is a full rollcage then? From the pics it looks to me that it is a full one. Does it not have the crossbar in the roof?

If I wanted a race car I would consider the Silver Bugget. I felt that the certification was a bit too important to be forgotten and if the seller want me to delete please let me know. At least the thread was bumped to the top again. As mentioned earlier, a nice car for a nice price and I know that Sonic have some really interesting plans.

Hi everyone I think it's good that this is mention as a potentiale problem, but how big is the problem? Well to be honest it's not that big issue if you ask me!I was thinking about this when I made the sales topic, but I came to the conclusion that i want to be as honest as possible and I hope that others would be the same. The roll gage is made of 1 5/8" 41.2mm tubes and all you need here in Denmark is to weld some more tubes in, from the sides at the gage and out to the front of the car, to protect the legs! Also a cross at the top of the gage is maybe needed! I don't know if this is needed for approval in your country! I think Mr Elnef can give better information! Thanks

Theree is no problem wtih this car its nice fast and light Yes a roll bar has to be 45*3 and Kalle thanks for the photo but this car does not have a roll bar so why talk about this This car has what I will call a cage but not full cage in 1 5/8" = 41,2mm so it is in some sort of grey zone but the Danish tech say ok to 10sec because of all the tube there is in it If you want this car to be legal down to 8,5sec you have to put some more tube in it It need a crossbar in the roof and some more forward and backward because of the lenght of the 2 (they are more than76,2cm) there has to be 4 And I am not sure but I think it also has to have a cross in the doors

Thanks Elnef for clarifying this!
If you're aiming for the 8's I would do these extra protection anyway, better safe than sorry! If you're aiming for the low 10's or high 9's it's possible that it's not a problem at all, I only mentioned this because it would be a shame if a new owner would run into the same problems like Us here in DK! And Rasmus didn't wanted to take the discussion with the apporval guys at that point, because he was "only" aiming for the high 10's or low 11's! So 10sec approval rollgage certification was good enough for him, thats all.
If you want to make you own personal theme, then the "Bulldog" theme is not painted on the car, but it's wrapped on folie and can be removed if you want this, but be aware of this might damaged the paint a little bit, but then you only need to put your own personal theme wrapped on folie, then you would be fine again. The quick way would be to remove the "Bulldog" text!
As Lance the previous owner mentioned! This car launch and drive straight as an arrow with his turbo setup! And I know Rasmus have been really positive about the car handling.
A pictures (from when it was Lance's ownership) of the roll gage, note that the side to side bar behind the seat have been modified, now it have a small curve backwards for more legspace up front. Thanks

Overall the car is really nice, but of course after years of use it have some "things" here and there! Don't expect a showcar but basically a nice car.
Thanks
