I've had a few questions about the transmission => yes, it is brands new, never driven, never even had oil in it.

ps. I wonder why there hasn't been too much interest - people are building engines with huge power and the old Gene Berg saying "Cry once" applies here. Is the asking price too much? I bet it would cost at least 8000-8500 euro in total with shipping and taxes if one ordered a similar from the states today.

I think perhaps people are looking at MD4E's advertised from the US dealers at around 6500$+shipping+vat.
For some it may not be clear what's the difference between this and yours.
If I was to buy yours, I would be looking at around 9000€ delivered incl 25% vat.
And then I can not choose the gear ratios...

Hi,

This is the $6500 transmission. That is 'only' EUR 5000, but unfortunately the shipping costs for a 50+kg package are nasty these days, and then you add customs and VAT on top of the bill Sad

Depending on the USD/EUR ratio, and if not paid in cash the actual ratio the Credit Card Company or Paypal uses, the actual shipping cost (anything between $200 and $2000, I calculated with $500), customs and VAT for the transmission+shipping, the $6500 transmission costs at least EUR 8000 before it is in Europe. Some European countries have slightly lower VAT, and with some effort and local help the shipping can be done with decent cost, so I am not saying it is impossible to import one with less than EUR 8000.

I do agree that it does not make sense to import something from USA to EU, pay taxes, and then take it forward to Norway and pay taxes again  Undecided

Anyway, the transmission is here and it is for sale. Asking EUR 7000. No hurry to sell.
